Not an obsession just today but really excited about this new old find. Not only cool because it's our Dad's alma mater but also has a lion AND a horse on it and it's for the equestrian team. Need we say more?

There's something very cool about the idea of wearing silk socks. The way they slouch and just the sheer luxury of them. I can imagine one of Balthus' girls wearing them, bunched over ballet shoes or loafers.

It helps to have a few mementos from the weekend to ruminate on when it's Monday. Discovered some great new shops: Summer Camp in Ojai and Mate Gallery in Montecito. Already looking forward to going back!

Monday Inspiration: Chunky Shoes

Finally we got these into our closet...platform Prada oxfords (thank you, eBay!)! Worth the wait since they were gotten for a fraction of the price that they were originally a few seasons back.
